Book review 1-8
I have very interesting book now. This book is named "Soccer". This book explains some knowledge of soccer to us. For example, they are the way to play soccer correctly, the history of soccer, the winners of The World Cup or some other big competitions, a lot of fans or supporters from around the world, some top players of soccer, and the future for soccer. Especially, I am interested in the stars of soccer. I knew that Diego Maradona was one of the most famous players in the world, but I did not know some famous players that were written in this book. I like soccer very much, so I would like to look over a lot of books of soccer. This book will make the people who do not know soccer interested. (133 words)

I would like to recommend this book. This book is named "FORTY YEARS OF POP". This book explains the history of pop to us. In addition, the feature of this book is to show a lot of pop stars who was popular among a lot of fan of pop music every decade.
In the 1950s, Elvis Presley was the most famous musician in the United States. His first record was named "Heartbreak Hotel". This song was sold the best in all the songs that he made in his life. He not only made some songs, but also had a major influence on the feelings of lots of young people. Therefore, he is still called the King of Rock and Roll.
In the 1960s, the Beach Boys became the most famous group in the United States. On the other hand, in the UK, the Beatles and The Rolling Stones became popular at that time.
In the 1970s, progressive rock and heavy metal appeared on the field of pop music. the famous groups of playing progressive rock were Pink Floyd and Genesis. Then, Led Zeppelin played it and they also played the first hard rock or heavy metal.
In the 1980s, Michael Jackson and Madonna became very famous musician. Michael Jackson was making some hits when he was six. And the older he was, the more he made hits. While Madonna's music gave a lot of women a way for them to be free. That decided what she was.
In the 1990s, music became popular. It was rap. Rap is still popular, and it has changed from what it was. However, the attraction of rap has not changed, so a lot of people enjoy it.
I was not interested in foreign music before I read this book, but I am interested in them a little. So, I think that I would like to listen to them if I get some CDs. Anyway, let's read this book. (324 words)

essay 5 (the worst day in my life)
Though I do not often go out and I can not go on running in the park all day long now, but I used to be able to do them. Some of my classmates in elementary school were very vigorous, so it also made me active at that time. However, I think that children tend to act without caring about what will happen if they try to do something dangerous for them. It is natural for them to do that because they are interested in a lot of things, but I think that children should know whether their behavior are right or wrong as many as they can.
One usual evening in nine years ago, I and my younger sister felt bored because we had nothing to do anything. After a few times passed, my younger sister suggested to me that we should play tag to kill time in my house. Then, I agreed to her proposal, and we began to do it at once. When we had enjoyed playing tag for a while, the incident happened. When I was running, my toes caught on the keyboard of feet in my house. The next moment I felt an acute pain in my toes. I was not able to stand up, and I lay quietly. As I was sleepy, I went to bed early in the night.
On the following day, I went to a hospital with my mother. After I was examined, a doctor told me that I broke my toe and it would take me three weeks to recover from my break. I was very shocked at this news. Because I did not think that my toe was broken owing to such trivial incident. Because of this injury, I could not go to my grandparents’ home.
I had kept having my toe in a plaster cast for 14 days. When I walked somewhere in my house, I tapped the floor with my plaster cast. I felt loud when I did. I thought that it was very troublesome for me to do something with a plaster cast while I lived with it. So, I was very happy when I recovered from a break in a bone. Also, I thought that I did not want to break my bone.
I was ten years old at that time, but I was very young mentally. So, I think that I broke my toe. Especially, I had not enough skill of judging a lot of situation. I think that I should distinguish the time when I should move from the time when I should not. When I can get this skill, my daily life will be better. (443 words)

essay 4 (a memorable day in my life)
I think that the most memorable day for me is the day when I went to my grandparents’ house by train for myself. When I was 8 years old, I had thought that it was very difficult for me to go out to somewhere for myself. Because I had feared that I lost my way or had a traffic accident. So, I rarely went out. And I had always visited there with my family when I would like to see my grandparents as soon as possible. But, my parents had thought that I should be the person who tried to be willing to act. Then, my parents suggested to me that I should do something for myself.
It was the trip to grandparents’ house. Finally, I made up my mind that I went there. In that day, I was not all that tensed up. After I rode on my car, I arrived at the Kumamoto Station. Then, I rode on the train that was named “Tsubame”.
In this train, I spent a lot of time keeping sitting down. I sometimes ate some candies that I received from the person who had worked as servers and drank something cold to drink. Also, as one of the passengers who rode on the same car spoke to me, it was very short for me to spend the time I had rode on the train. Then, I arrived at Minamata Station, and I could see my grandparents.
I thought that my grandparents looked anxious when I got off at the platform, but they met me with smiles. Though I was a little tired from the train trip, the smiles made me forget the tiredness temporarily. Then I rode on my grandfather's car, and I and grandparents went to their home.
I still remember that I did it. I think that it is very important for me to act for myself. Because it links to growth as a person. And the memory makes me rise mentally. Therefore, I think that I would like to experience a lot of things. (344 words)

His technique makes me excited!
When I watched this, I was very excited. And I thought that he would be the player who made a lot of people in Japan happy. He is Daisuke Matsui. He belongs to AS Saint-Étienne in League 1 of French. He has played in this league for 4 years. By 07/08 season, he had played in Le Mans Union Club 72. He played very well, so he had been called "The sun of Le Mans" among his supporters. When he was in Japan, I thought that his play is not effective for his team. However, he grew up, and he became a special player in Le Mans. In 08/09 season, He will play in AS Saint-Étienne. I'm looking forward to watching his technique. Anyway, let's watch his play! (128 words)

This player is Takayuki Morimoto. He belongs to Calcio Catania in Serie A. In 2004, he scored a goal in J League at the age of 15. He became the youngest player who scored in J League Division 1. Then, in 2006, he became a member of Calcio Catania in Serie A. And he scored a goal in that league in 2007. Unfortunately, he was badly injured his knee, so he was not able to take part in games. However, he returned, and he recorded a goal and an assist in the first game of 07/08 season for Calcio Catania.
